DESTINATIONS
Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary
This private wildlife sanctuary was provided to protect the ecosystem of three neighboring farms Lualenyi, Mramba and Oza with an area of 400 sq km. The first letters of the three farms form the name Lumo.
The protected area is geographically located exactly between the Tsavo East and West National Parks and borders the Taita Hills Reserve.
The aim of the community, which now has 4000 members, is to protect species and preserve the local flora and fauna!
This protection program is financed primarily through park entry fees, rental income and overnight accommodation fees from the local lodges.
This means that the migration corridor for wild animals, especially elephants, is preserved and protected. Definitely a nice safari destination!

Our wedding vows at Severin were a highlight. Our guide, Damiano, is fantastic. Best wishes to him. We'll definitely be back. You're fantastic. From the very first meter, you could tell how experienced he was. In addition to English, he also spoke German, which made the whole experience seem even more intimate. Katana was always careful to get us safely from A to B. He knew the various spots very well, separated himself from the other safari convoys, and offered us a unique experience with elephants, lions, hippos, and other beautiful animals. The highlight was the sunset, two grazing elephants, and an ice-cold glass of champagne from the tour operator. Moments like that stay with you. The Toyota Landcruiser also made a very nice impression. Overall, I highly recommend this tour operator. In the end, it's the little things that make the big difference. The tour vehicle is top-notch, the driver (Michael) is excellently trained, and we really enjoyed the accommodations. If you're going on safari, go with DM Tours 💪💪💪💪 Marvin Berghaus2024-12-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently went on a private safari with DM Tours. We specified the national parks (Tsavo East, Amboseli, Tsavo West) and accommodations in advance. This was all confirmed in advance. We liked the fact that the entrance fees were already included. There are operators where you have to pay for the entrance fees on site. On the day of departure, we were picked up on time by our great driver Rufus and set off for Tsavo East. There, after the first short safari on the way to the accommodation, we saw the first animals, such as lions. After lunch and a break of about two hours, we went for another round before dinner at the lodge and were able to go to bed. The next day we set off early for a short safari before breakfast. After that we had dinner and then headed to Amboseli. After some time there we arrived at the lodge and the same procedure as the day before. Lunch, a short break, and then another tour. The day concluded with dinner at the lodge. The following day, we went on safari again early, had breakfast, and then headed to Amboseli National Park. Once we arrived at the lodge, we had lunch, a short break, and then set off on the evening safari. There, we were treated to a bottle of sparkling wine as a surprise, which we enjoyed in peace against a stunning backdrop. We then finished the evening at the lodge and returned to the hotel the next morning. In summary: Our guide, Rufus, really had a plan for everything (he has over 2 years of experience as a guide). He was able to tell us a lot about the animals. At the lodges, he knew where we needed to go and how to proceed with check-in. He also kept us informed of our next steps. Many thanks to DM Tours & Safaris for the great experience! Travel_Love2024-12-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked a three-day safari to Taita Hills and Tsavo East. The overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge was particularly impressive and definitely an experience we'll remember for a long time. The entire organization, from pickup to transportation, accommodation, and food, was excellent. Unfortunately, we were there at a time when it was still very green, making it difficult to spot the animals, but our driver, Ismael, knew exactly where to take us and was very accommodating to our individual requests. We highly recommend booking through DM Tours. We would be happy to do it again anytime! Eva Strobel2024-12-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked a private safari in Tsavo East on December 03.12.24rd, 2, 1 days XNUMX night in the Ashnil Aruba Lodge with DM Tours. We were very satisfied. Everything was well organized and went really well. The lodge was very nice, the rooms were very clean and the food was excellent. We were also lucky enough to see a lot of animals. A very special thank you and many greetings to our very good guide Rufus. He explained a lot to us and showed us a lot. Many thanks also to Evi with whom we booked the tour. When we come back to Kenya, DM Tours will definitely be our first choice for a safari. Best wishes to the whole DM team from Eva and Josef
