Located in the private Taita Hills game reserve between Tsavo East and West, this popular lodge is recommended for its exceptional architecture. Built on stilts and connected to each other by wooden walkways, the round bungalows at lofty heights are a special highlight of an overnight stay in Kenya!

Sentrim Tsavo Camp

The camp is located approximately 10 km from Voi Gate and 40 km from Buchuma Gate in Tsavo East National Park in the shade of tall trees in a wildlife-rich landscape.
The heavily visited waterhole in particular makes the perfect backdrop in front of the tent camp so impressive! Elephants, buffaloes, gazelles and even big cats regularly visit the watering hole.
20 comfort tents and 5 cottages with bathrooms, double beds with mosquito nets and their own terrace convey the real safari feeling!

1 Night

Route

Day 1

Morning pick-up from your accommodation on the north or south coast and drive via Mombasa to the 100 km² Taita Hills protected area.

For lunch you reach the Sarova Salt Lick Lodge, fortify yourself with lunch and have time to look around and feel good.

In the afternoon we start the big game drive through the area and explore nature with the animal inhabitants. At sunset we return to our accommodation, Salt Lick Lodge. A lovely evening awaits us with dinner and watching the animals approach the watering holes.

At daybreak after a quick cup of coffee/tea we set off for an early game so as not to miss the exciting active time of the predators. The hearty breakfast after the game leaves nothing to be desired.

We now continue our tour towards Tsavo East National Park. As soon as you get there, the next adventure begins! There is a lot to discover here in the so-called “Theater of the Wilderness”!

We are expected at Sentrim Tsavo Camp at lunchtime. Enjoy your meal and the wonderful authentic feel of the camp with a view of the waterhole!

The afternoon game drive will bring you even closer to the wild beauty of Tsavo East!

The evening at the bush camp will be unforgettable! You are in the middle of Africa, with unforgettable impressions of a night under the sparkling starry sky around the campfire!

Once again we go on the popular early game hunt and roam the area in search of the wild animals. A last hearty breakfast and we head back.

We take a break for lunch, then continue to the coast to your accommodation.
