Route
Day 1
Pick up at your hotel/cottage in the morning and begin the exciting journey into the interior of the country via Mombasa.
Shortly before entering the Tsavo West National Park you take a short break, now we drive into the realm of wild animals.
The park is very scenic, dense vegetation and green hills characterize the picture. Wild animals find plenty of hiding places, so every game drive becomes a surprise tour and you need a little bit of safari luck.
Until midday you cruise across the park in search of photo opportunities. Afterwards, check in at the Severin Safari Camp, enjoy a tasty lunch and relax a bit in the beautiful grounds.
After afternoon tea, the next game viewing trip starts to the Mzima Springs lake with hippos and crocodiles in a beautiful natural idyll.
You are sure to encounter animals in the wild along the way, just keep an eye out! A great animal encounter can happen at any time!
At dusk the path leads back to the camp, you refresh yourself and enjoy dinner and end the eventful day relaxing under the canopy of stars.
African nights in the camp surrounded by nature are magical!
Day 2
Your day begins with an early breakfast, after check-out you start your game drive and the 94 kilometer route to Amboseli National Park. This drive takes you through the Chyulu Hills and Masailand. If you wish, you can make a short stop at the Sheitani lava field.
The Amboseli National Park presents a completely different landscape: huge herds of elephants leisurely move through the flat, wide plains. Enjoy the land at the foot of Kilimanjaro and feel the magic!
You go on an exciting game viewing trip until lunchtime and then check into your accommodation.
Here you can spend your lunch break with lunch, a refreshment in the pool and simply feel good!
The afternoon game drive takes you in front of the backdrop of the most popular photo motif, Mount Kilimanjaro!
In the evening we return to the lodge and spend another evening in an atmospheric atmosphere with dinner.
Day 3
Today you will also set off on an interesting game viewing trip at daybreak. After breakfast, the safari continues to Tsavo East National Park.
As soon as you enter the “Theater of the Wilderness”, Kenya shows itself from its original side; the first game drive takes you through the middle of the national park to Ashnil Lodge on the Aruba Dam. Here you will fortify yourself again with lunch, settle into your accommodation and while away the hours in tranquility until the afternoon game drive. From the terrace of your room you have a beautiful view of the Aruba Dam, which is an attraction for numerous wildlife.
After the afternoon, certainly exciting, game viewing trip, you return home to a beautiful evening in the lodge with a view and celebrate a successful safari day.
The Amboseli National Park presents a completely different landscape: huge herds of elephants leisurely move through the flat, wide plains. Enjoy the land at the foot of Kilimanjaro and feel the magic!

Day 4
After a cup of coffee/tea, we set off at dawn for the early game, the best time of day to observe a big cat hunt! Afterwards there is a rich breakfast. We pack our luggage and check out. We roam the park for a nice game until lunch, then it's time to say goodbye to the wilderness.
After lunch, the tour goes back to your accommodation via Mombasa to the coast and your driver says goodbye to you in the late afternoon. Kwaheri!!
This four-day safari takes you through different landscapes and offers you a successful mix of three national parks!

Serena Mski2024-07-08Everything was great from the pick-up to the tour and the return journey, the driver spoke great German and did his best to explain and show us everything. Lunch was also great with a great view. We saw lions, elephants, zebras etc.Karsten Lenz2024-06-29Hello Nadine, hello Aaron! We would like to thank you very much for the safari you both recommended: 3 DAYS IN TSAVO EAST / SATAO CAMP! It was simply a dream to explore the wilderness with our guide Josef. Best wishes to him! IT WAS A PLEASURE WITH HIM! Thanks to him, we saw a lot and were able to take some great photos. Thank you very much for the "surprise"... it was a success! Please keep it up! The three of us wish you ALL THE BEST for the future! Best wishes Yvonne, Eva & Karsten PS: ATTENTION! We'll be back!Melanie N.2024-06-29After a 4-day safari through Tsavo West, Amboseli and Tsavo West, we returned completely impressed. Our driver George had a great sense for the right times and places - world class! We were able to watch lion hunts on 2 days. The jeep was clean every morning, and chilled water was always available. George is still learning German, but it was no problem to follow his explanations in English. Otherwise, we also had a lot of luck - nature is nature and the parks are huge. Everything went smoothly in the accommodations, and if there was a problem, George took care of it. Conclusion: Great organization, very competent drivers (who also get on very well with each other and you can feel the team spirit), very good jeep, unforgettable experiences and impressions.Sabrina Janssen2024-04-20Big praise to our driver Michael Siameni. 🙏🏻 Despite the rainy season and the difficult conditions, Michael made a lot of effort to find the animals, and did everything possible so that we could really discover a lot. He explained and showed us everything, not just about the animals and the safari, but also provided general information about Kenya and answered all the questions we had. A very nice guy. 🤝🏻😊 The accommodation offered by DM was good, the first (Severin Safari Park) was excellent. 🙏🏻 The jeep was in good condition and Michael spoke good German. We always felt safe on the trips. We spontaneously wanted to extend our safari and Michael sorted that out for us quickly and easily. Thanks again for that! We will definitely return at some point and then book our safari again through DM Tours and hope that we can travel with Michael again then. :-) Best wishes again to Michael. 😊 PS: Thanks also for the champagne 🥂 perfect timing to conjure it up at sunset while watching the lions 🥂😃Dennis2024-03-18I recently took the five-day Elephant Tour with DM Tours, and it blew me away—it was the adventure of a lifetime! The team at the head office in Diani Beach was super friendly and really knew their stuff, making everything run smoothly from start to finish. Our guide, Katana, was the heart of the trip. Imagine the nicest person you know, then imagine someone even nicer—that's Katana. He had an uncanny knack for finding the best spots to see all kinds of animals, and thanks to him, we didn't miss a thing. The lodges we stayed in were top-notch, offering comfort and a warm welcome after each day's adventure. Plus, the jeeps were a dream—comfortable seats, a fridge for cool drinks, and a rooftop lookout that gave us the best views. A little advice for anyone thinking about this tour: pack light—a soft bag is all you need. And don't forget a hat, sunscreen, and something to cover your shoulders, because the Kenyan sun doesn't play around. If you're on the fence about booking this tour, just go for it. You won't regret it!drone_me _up2024-03-18Great safari, super friendly and competent providers 😃 There were five of us and we did Tsavo West and Amboseli. The Severin Lodge in Tsavo West was amazing, highly recommended. It is an "open" lodge without a fence and was a great experience, we had a giraffe next to our bungalow that was leisurely nibbling a snack from the tree 😃 The second lodge, Oltukai Lodge, was also really nice, the little monkeys ran through the whole complex and played. In total we saw 3 of the Big Five. However, you can't see rhinos in any park, they are in a separate reserve. All in all it was a great safari and every cent was worth it 😀 We have now also booked a private safari in Tsavo East, which will definitely be a great experience too. I can only recommend this provider and you really get what you booked.Klaus Graf2024-03-06We went on a private safari with DM Tours from February 26.2th to 28.2th in Tsavo East National Park and in the Taita Hills, which was carried out to our complete satisfaction. Beautiful lodges to stay in and we saw 3 lions in 13 days, which even our guide James Njenga confirmed was an exception. We would also like to highlight James in particular, as we have grown fond of him. Very friendly and with a good knowledge of German, he always responded to our requests and was always keen to make the safari a great success for us. James was happy to share his extensive knowledge of the animal world, the people and the country of Africa, so that exciting and informative conversations always developed. Thank you very much for that! Klaus and AngelaKatja Kruse2024-02-20I had a great safari to Tsavo West and Amboseli, 3 days, booked spontaneously on site the day before. We had great animal sightings, in the Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo West I had an unexpected upgrade to a house right next to a waterhole and in the evening elephants actually came! In Amboseli Park we saw lions and a cheetah, our guide George gave everything for us and was always in the right place at the right time! I would book again and again.
